This Sunday, October 15, 2017, we’ll be exhibiting at the 13th Annual Pioneer Valley Book & Ephemera Fair, 10 am – 4 pm, Smith Vocational School, 80 Locust St (Route 9), Northampton, Massachusetts.
We invite all to attend.
40 of your favorite dealers from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey & even Ohio will offer early, modern, collectible, rare, scholarly, fine & downright used books, manuscripts, ephemera, prints, maps, autographs, postcards, photographs & probably some incarnations of paper & print which I’ve forgotten.
It’s a great time to visit the Pioneer Valley! We’re plastered with pumpkins, potted mums, apples for picking or purchase, cider of several stripes. We got Five Colleges! (University of Massachusetts, Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, Hampshire College) with students to visit, football games to watch, rare book libraries with exhibits & several noteworthy art museums! The foliage committee is working 3 shifts & we shall strive to please the leaf peepers! So come, already! No excuses!

Library History Seminar XIII Showcase
Library History Seminar XIII will be held at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts from Friday July 31st through Sunday August 2d, 2015. Held every 4-5 years since 1961, founders Louis Shores and Wayne Shirley also established the Library History Round Table (LHRT) of the American Library Association. The Seminar features scholarly presentations, field trips, and a bookseller showcase on Saturday afternoon. The seminar will delve into the enduring and evolving aspects of libraries and librarianship.

We will be exhibiting at the showcase on Saturday Afternoon from 2-6 pm, which is open to the public. We will be offering books and printed ephemera related to library history, dedications, catalogs, exhibits, reports, librarians, as well as books about books, publishing, printing, bookseller and book auction catalogs.
