well, this file last updated July 8 – it’s august 7 – forced marches & non-stop hustle & here we are again – basic mixed weather bag – sultry & steamy at moment, rumble of thunder, monsoons few days back, few cooler, drier breaks – we hit 65 which required some paperwork, but celebrated at nearby alvah stone with edie – garden rockin’ with usual faults & feasts – raspberries here & gone, bed of salad greens, many romano beans, tomatoes in spite of blight, summer squashes, but zucchini plants struggle, oriental eggplants having banner year, early pepper variety, cucumbers coming along, plenty carrots – broccoli got worms, deer got beets, raccoons got corn, basil yellowed, more planted – zach now in Gainesville for interventional radiology fellowship at university of florida & very happy camper –
herein – you’ll find yet another gathering of odds’n sods, mostly pamphlets, some books, more of this, less of that for various reasons, but there’s more, too much more & hopefully we’ll press ahead to next catalog soon –
